William Shakespeare's play The Tragedy of Macbeth, or Macbeth, is one of his shorter tragedies, and was written between 1599-1606. “Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders King Duncan and takes the Scottish throne for himself. He is then wracked with guilt and paranoia.” Illustrations are an interpretation of the characters in Shakespeare's short play. The Macbeth movie (1948) directed and starred by Orson Welles, inspired this project.

Printed on 210 gr Koehler watercolor fine art paper, using high quality pigment. In the second stage, the details were printed with gold leaf foil technique. Edition of 200, sealed with embossed stamp. The Macbeth posters are designed to fit IKEA's Ribbba 30 x 40 frame.
